In my last newsletter, I mentioned IBG Annual Awards. Its scheduled on 31st Jan 2019, at IMC building from 6/30 pm onwards.

The names of the Awardees will be circulated in the first week January. IBG Annual Awards are becoming most sought after in the Awards calender. There will be some top business personalities, both the for panel as we the awardees, so make sure you reserve your entry in advance. The Awards will given to business leaders in general, as also to some reserved seats for IBG members.

As mentioned in the last Newsletter, we reach out to around 80,000 business professionals in Mumbai, including 5000 CEOs.

It was discussed to have intellectual discussions on some topic on Whatsapp group on every Tuesday 10am headed by Vikash Sir.

IBG had conducted a visit of H.E. C G Demeke Atnafu Ambulo Consul General of Ethiopia to IBG office where few IBG members were invited .The purpose of this meeting is to closely interact with IBG to see possible avenues .

Rohan Medhi – Founding Director of Vitasta Learning Pvt. Ltd. is active in the field of Training & HR consulting for over 11 years. He graduated in Zoology & Biotechnology; however, with the thought that working in human laboratory is more interesting & challenging than working in animal laboratory, he completed M.B.A. in HR from ICFAI University. He has also undergone industry-oriented Licentiate programs in Performance & Competency Development, Compensation & Benefits, Psychometric Testing and Recruitment Analysis.

He started his career with Resume Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd. Being a part of the consulting firm helped him give exposure to varied industries. He has been on the interviewing panels of several client organizations.

Training was the area which actually attracted him since the beginning. One of the most significant reasons being, it was a performing art.
Since childhood days, Rohan has always been connected to the theatre & other facets of performing arts. He believes that learning best happens when people are engaged. Having a relevant & strong content for learning is important and along with that, the way this content is woven in the module makes the true difference! Rohan uses this blend of art & skill in designing the training programs for his clients.

His ability to connect well with participants from all age groups & hierarchical levels enables him to keep highest level of engagement throughout the training sessions. He has designed & rendered training sessions at Sandoz India (Mumbai), Sanofi Pharma (Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai & Hyderabad), Emerson Climate Technologies (Karad), Virgo Valves (Emerson group company – Pune), Mahabal Group of Companies (Miraj), Pitambari Products Pvt. Uday Vaidya, the founder Director of Vitasta Learning Pvt. Ltd. - is a Post Graduate in Marketing Management from Jamanalal Bajaj Institute for Management Studies. He has a wide ranging crossfunctional experience in the fields of Production, Q.C., Marketing, Technical Services & Logistics. In this journey, he found that his passion lies in working on the potentials of people & thus, he consciously decided to quit his job as an All India Sales Manager for a leading company & started on his own in 1993.

He was the Founder & Managing Director of M/s Resume Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd., (RESUME) (established in the year 1993), which is a well-known Executive Search Organization in Mumbai. Though begun as a recruitment firm, Uday always envisaged to enter into his passion areas – Training & Consulting. Right opportunities knocked the door & Uday started delivering training programs in several large corporates.


In the past 25 years he has gained wide exposure in the field of HR and has deepened his roots in HR Consultancy. Today, he guides the medium sized growing organizations in setting up their HR Function, Structuring/restructuring the organization on the basis of futuristic business plan, empowering Management in taking important decisions related to Manpower, Job Profiling, Talent Development, Designing and implementing Performance Management System & ensuring employee engagement.
